It has just published the UNI 11656: 2016 “unregulated Professions – Professional Civil Protection (Disaster Manager) – knowledge requirements, skill and competence.”
The standard prepared by the working group 6 (Commission UNI “Security of the Company and of the Citizen”) identifies the characteristics of the post of Manager distaster identifying three different profiles depending on the organizational contexts in which it operates.
Specifically, the Disaster Manager is a professional who provides decision support for the management of forecasting, prevention, response and recovery from the civil defense emergencies.
This standard, in addition to recognizing the professionalism of these figures, will help the National Service of Civil Protection to adopt locally specialized garrisons to face the typical problems of the area of activity.
