ICEP is a partner of the Erasmus+ project “X-VET – Integrated Sustainability Approach for the Effective Navigation of Emerging Critical Transformations (Green & Digital & Economic)” (ref. n. 2025-1-DE02-KA220-VET-000352279). The project has a duration of 36 months, starting in November 2025 and ending in October 2028. 

The applicant organisation is Werkstatt-Berufskolleg Unna from Unna in Germany and partner organisations are ACCELERAS KG from Vienna in Austria, Pucko otvoreno uciliste Cakovec  from Čakovec in Croatia, ilmiolavoro srl from Campli in Italy, SIA "HOTEL SCHOOL" Viesnīcu biznesa koledža from Riga in Latvia, Tehnička škola Pirot from Pirot in Serbia, and our team from ICEP s.r.o. from Bratislava in Slovakia. 

X-VET aims to equip VET institutions, educators, and learners with structured sustainability and digital learning skills, ensuring alignment with the EU Green and Digital Transition. The project develops innovative training frameworks, a MOOC on Integrated Sustainability, and sustainability-driven hackathons, fostering experiential learning and industry collaboration. It also provides certification and disseminates results to ensure long-term impact, driving sustainable transformation in VET. 

X-VET will equip VET institutions with sustainability-focused digital learning tools, ensuring long-term impact. The MOOC will provide structured learning for VET leaders, educators, and learners. The Hackathon Guide and local hackathons will foster real-world sustainability solutions. Certification aligned with EU micro-credentials will validate competencies. Over 100 educators and 600 VET learners will benefit, driving sustainability integration in VET education and governance. 

Our main activities we are going to implement are:

  • Develop the X-VET MOOC, providing structured learning pathways for VET stakeholders.
  • Design a Hackathon Guide to implement local Sustainability Hackathons to foster real-world problem-solving.
  • Conduct Training of Trainers programs, equipping educators with sustainability-driven teaching strategies.
  • Establish a certification system for formal recognition of acquired competencies.
  • Ensure widespread dissemination & upscaling through multiplier events, conferences, & partnerships.
